This series seeks to illuminate the strength and subtle grace of these humble seaweeds, showing how they thrive in harsh environments that might otherwise seem beyond their endurance. What most people pass by as unremarkable or forgotten holds a quiet elegance and determination. The seaweed, though seemingly small and fragile, adapts and survives within its environment, clinging to life in ways that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Through this study, I aim to find beauty in the discarded and the overlooked—to highlight the intricate forms, colors, and textures of these plants as they move in the water, caught in the flow of seasons. The series of paintings and sketches not only captures their movement but also reflects the delicate yet tenacious existence of these plants, inviting the viewer to consider the overlooked aspects of nature and the quiet strength that lies in what we often neglect.
